Our product follows German alfalfa hay quality standards. The following parameters serve as a clear quality checklist for dairy farms:

Chop length: 5-10cm short chop, keeping enough effective fiber for rumination while easing intake and mixing.

Dry matter: above 86% (above 860 g/kg) to prevent mould and heating during storage.

Crude protein: above 200 g/kg DM (above 20%), at the top level of German premium alfalfa hay.

Fiber: NDF above 400 g/kg DM for rumen health, ADF 25%-30% for balanced digestibility and energy.

Net energy: NEL 5.1-5.5 MJ/kg DM.

Stubble height: 8-10cm (never below 7cm) to protect regrowth and reduce soil contamination.
