Short-Cut Forage and TMR Mixing Uniformity

Short-Cut Forage and TMR Mixing Uniformity

The core goal of total mixed ration (TMR) is consistent nutrition in every bite. Long-cut feed, being bulky and irregular, is hard to mix evenly with concentrates and minerals and tends to stratify.

6-12mm short-cut material has uniform particles and consistent density, mixing well with concentrates without separating, giving more stable TMR and more consistent milk performance.

Mixing time can also be shortened, saving energy and labor while reducing over-processing of fiber structure.
